Our Mission
We created an Online Tutoring Program to offer FREE, comprehensive, and accessible support for GRIC kids.
Asking for help on schoolwork or asking more in-depth questions in a traditional classroom setting is often challenging. Students may feel intimidated or embarrassed. With this online, individualized method, we would hope to provide a student-to-student stress free place where kids could ask for help from tutors that are still in high school. It is our goal to inspire kids to find their work easier and more enjoyable leading them to pursue higher level academics.
Through continued efforts, the goal is expanding this program to include a network of peer tutors who can provide sustainable academic support for GRIC kids and encompass more subjects, i.e. more
What We Offer
Our peer tutors can offer tutoring on Math, English, and Science. For Math, Algebra 2 or lower level math is available. For English, reading, writing, and grammar services are available. For Science, basic Earth Science and Biology services are available.
Scheduling
After registering, Gila Homework users will receive an email along with information about how they can book appointments.
The scheduling process will allow the student to view a tutor’s availability, and then schedule an appointment within those available times.
This booking process will be simple, easy, and flexible.
